A decade or so ago, I took friends to Jaipur, India, to help me film the true jewels of Jaipur behind the jewellery that we love. The silversmiths and gem cutters. This is an exposé on the Muslim tradition of gem cutting and smithing that created our pieces when this was our main collection. We now feature a very different Hindu tradition of gem and silversmiths, and I hope to go back to Jaipur soon to revisit our current production.

This is a trip to Jaipur, many years ago, showcasing the real jewels of Jaipur, the stonecutters and silversmiths. I now have other collections and use a different family of smiths with other traditional skills, that are Hindu and quite different culturally to this Muslim family that specialises in Sterling Silver set gemstones in modern styles.
